Well, we finally made it to Virginia. It was definitely touch and go there for a while, but we arrived. As I got off the plane with the kids and the assistant of two flight attendants and another guy pushing the car seats in a wheel chair (not sure where he came from) one of the attendants handed Will to Jon and said very boldly, "You owe your wife dinner!" As Dad keeps telling me, it's all journal material.

On Saturday there was an air show going on at Andrews AFB. Of course, as soon as Jon heard, we had to go. So thinking we could just drive up, fight a few cars worth of traffic, we headed out. Ha, we had to park at a metro stop a few miles away, go through a security line 10 x the size of the airport, get shuttled by bus to the base, all with two screaming kids and a extra large double stroller... and 400,000 people later (for real, that's what they said on the news), we were finally able to see some cool stuff. Well, actually Jon and Ethan did. I sat in the hangar with Will because the noise was so loud and he was pretty unhappy.





Dad, we live literally steps from a Pizzeria Uno. I was so excited to see it and kept telling Jon all about it. We went there for dinner last night, it was so good.





We tried to go to our ward today for church, but were unable to locate our correct ward. So we just picked one today. It's kind of far away, so I think we will pick a new one next week. Who knew it would be so hard to find? In fact, where we live, we are on the border of three stakes.

Well, we love and miss you all. I hope that we will get to see a few people this summer. I've already checked out Potomac Mills shopping, oh wow. This could be fun.

What is the meaning of Happy Mother's Day?

At church they were making cards for Mother's Day as Lydia was decorating hers she looked at me, smiled and said, "this not for you Mom it's for Dad".  So much for a Mother's day card from her.  Then I was making myself some brownies on Mother's Day (Josh did grill some killer hamburgers and did the dishes even wiped the floor down) the brownies weren't included in my Mother's Day package.    I saved some batter in the bowl for Benny and Lydia  (I usually do save batter for them to lick).   Benny looked at me and said, "thank you Mom you are so nice"  I looked at him in surprise.  He looked back at me and said,  "Sometimes you are nice and let us have things but lot of times you are mean and don't let us have things".   So I guess I need some help.  Richard could you start posting some weekly parenting skills on the blog...from the sound of things I really need HELP.

Thanks everyone for coming and supporting us yesterday, It could not have been a more perfect day. Josh it was fun to spend time with you, it is definitely our turn to visit you and your family in San Diego!
