Gramps is doing better. They did an ultra sound on his gall bladder and really didn't find anything, so they think it is probably the flu but grammy said he is doing better.
Fern called yesterday and said that she has to made some decisions about where she wants to spend the rest of her life. Being blind, it is hard for her to live back at Pioneer Valley. Martha, called yesterday to see how Gramps was feeling and said that they have a place for Fern at their house that even has a chair lift but she is not sure that that is what she wants to do.
Aunt Lois hasn't received her car registration and she doesn't dare drive her car, but finally yesterday she went out to Aunt Oral's but she was scared the whole time that she would get a ticket.
Josh and Layne and family made it home safely. They made it out at the right time.

Is there anything we can do for Gramps? Is he able to just rest right now?
We are trying to arrange to have someone come and plow the driveway as soon as it snows....everytime. Keith knows someone and is trying to arrange something so that Gramps doesn't try to go out and blow the driveway. Joe and Eileen are taking them dinners a few times a week- Joe says Eileen just makes more food and it isn't a problem. I think just calling and checking on them as much as possible would be appreciated. This winter has already been hard on them.
